Chip Usher Chip Usher got started in club building as a teenager tinkering with his own clubs in his parents' garage. A friend at a local club inquired if he could build him a driver and thus a business was born. Chip ordered a persimmon driver from Louisville Golf and before long had sold two-dozen drivers to other members of the club. While attending the University of Georgia, Chip put his skills to work for members of his fraternity and at a local driving range. After college, Chip officially started Usher Golf and developed it into a full service club building, custom fitting and repair shop.
