Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass - Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Bryan Cooper
The Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass had a complete makeover last year and was finished in time for this year's Players Championship. Besides completely rebuilding the entire golf course, they demolished the clubhouse and built a magnificent 77,000 square foot Mediterranean architectural beauty as a replacement.

A complete state-of-the-art club performance & repair shop was included in the new plans to service the thousands of guests who play there every year. Byran Cooper is the Club Repair Technician. He is a PGA member who also serves as an Assistant to Matt Borocz, the Head Professional. Byran is a member of the Professional Clubmakers Society and has over 20 years experience upgrading and repairing golf clubs.

Repair Shop
The PGA Tour Academy operates a Golf Performance Studio on the practice range at TPC and Bryan provides custom club fitting and club performance upgrades for the students who attend.

During The Players Championship, Bryan assisted several players with their golf clubs. Notably, Nathan Green required a new shaft in his 3-iron after bending it during Thursday's round. The club manufacturer's trailers are gone after Wednesday; so having this service available was valuable to the pros. Bryan used the Steelclub® Plus Angle Machine to bend a hybrid and fairway wood for Retief Goosen. Paul Azinger used the TourGauge® Putter Machine to adjust the loft and lie of his putter.

TPC At Sawgrass offers the following club performance upgrades:

- Measuring & Bending
   - Irons
   - Metal Woods
   - Hybrids
   - Putters
- Static Putter Fitting
- Shaft Frequency Analysis
- Re-Shafting
- Re-Gripping
